Using The Lasso Tools To Make Precise Cut-Outs

a. Download the 2 pics to the right
b. Open Photoshop
c. Open the maui wallpapers picture and leave it alone for a while
d. Open the kale.jpg image in Photoshop
e. Go to Image>Image Size and change the HEIGHT in pixels to 1200 pixels tall
f. Go to IMAGE>IMAGE ADJUSTMENTS>LEVELS and slide the 3 sliders to make the picture have more light as needed
fg Click on the TOOLBAR, and select the LASSO TOOL (freeform lasso)
h. Draw the lasso around the outside of the person in the picture making sure to get ALL of THEM in the picture
i. Go to EDIT>COPY
j. Now click on the maui picture document you made earlier and go to EDIT>PASTE to paste in the picture you just selected and copied
k. Use the ERASER to erase all the unneeded pixels from around your picture of kale.jpg
Take your time, and do a good job...
put the picture in the back of kale.
m. Put your name on it, with your period and add to your website and save a copy on your computer in your MY Work folder
